DekkoSIGN lets users request approval from one or many users without the file itself being processed in an unencrypted form by Dekko’s infrastructure. Approvers can add a signature, text, images and notes (“blocks”) to documents, all being cryptographically secured individually. Documents in need of an approval are marked with the ‘awaiting approval’ tag if the approval requirements have not been satisfied, or the ‘approved’ tag if they have. This signals the document’s approval status to all owners, receivers and approver(s). Upon receiving the signed document, the original requester’s system checks the electronic signature of all blocks and shows the result of this verification. The system will not create the approved PDF for download unless all of the signatures, comments, images, notes, etc. from all approvers pass cryptographic verification.
